Internal and External Reference – Finding the Balance…

Having completed my Practitioners course recently I got some great results and really started to understand stuff about myself that I hadn’t even considered before. One thing I am working with at the moment is my realisation that have placed so much importance externally on how I feel and I seem to need continual reassurance and feedback that I am OK rather than truly believing I am OK (which I know I am – I just don’t FEEL it). I think that I need to make a shift and place more emphasis on internal referencing rather than to keep seeking it externally.

Can anyone offer any suggestions on the type of interventions which might work here, or even offer me any kind of words of wisdom if anyone has experienced this before? I just feel I need to get the balance working better for me as I really don’t think it’s serving me right now.
