Relationships at the threshold of consciousness – a talk and conversation led by Steve Briault

Our encounters with other human beings create a profound and important dynamic in our soul. Our relationships – with family, friends, partners, colleagues, clients – are critical factors in our biographies and our sense of self. Steve’s new book The Mystery of Meeting describes how we can recognise the phenomena of interaction as leading us to and across thresholds of awareness and insight, and explores both the inner realities and the outer skills needed to navigate the opportunities and risks which our relationships provide. His talk will describe how Rudolf Steiner’s insights into the mysteries of encounter can enlighten and inspire us on this difficult and crucial journey.

Steve Briault is a social development professional who has worked in community care, refugee resettlement and organisation development, with twenty years’ international experience of advising and educating managers from companies, government and voluntary groups. His specialist areas include negotiation skills, partnership development and service improvement, especially in healthcare. He is the author of Working It Out (Russell House, 2002) and a founding member of the Association for Social Development.

This meeting is open to anyone – you do not have to be NLP qualified.

We start at 7.30pm for networking, with the formal part of the evening starting at 8pm.
